As I sit here feeling lost in what to write for my blog I realize that there is more important things going on in the world that need discussed and a platform for them, while my blog isn’t anything nor will come of anything, that fact is that I cannot as a human being be complicit in the silence that a lot of people show for what is going on around them. I understand anxiety, I have it, and nervousness to be forward with what is happening, but I will not have that on this platform.

The world sits here aching with the genocide in Gaza, the war in Ukraine and its people, and American citizens and refugees suffering at the hands of what I can only describe as a repetition of the history of Hitler and his cleansing of the Jewish people from Germany. The world is suffering, the people are suffering, and the people are fighting, though they are silenced from news outlets and coverage as they paint what’s happening as terrorism.

In Gaza, imagine someone coming to your home and pointing a gun at you and telling you to leave your home that you built or grew up in, and that their religious beliefs allow them to take your home as it is there. So you leave to defend your family, only to still be killed and harmed by those same people. Imagine the world being told you have water, food, medicine and baby formula by the same people that have you cornered and terrified by bombs and senseless killing because they wish to ethnically cleanse Gaza of Palestinians, and any humanitarian aid, which is allowed to go to your country, is intercepted and everyone aboard is arrested for terrorism when they are humanitarian aides sent by various countries.

Imagine being in Ukraine and being put through a war because another country wishes to take back over your country after you fought against them to separate from them after the soviet union, and countries that are supposed to help turn their backs on you as they find it difficult to fight against Russia. Granted, the threat of nuclear war is the issue, but there has to be something that can be done peacefully, even if it’s moving in on the borders like the USA has in South Korea.

Imagine moving to the country that proclaims that it’s the home of the free and the brave, and you basically work your ass off day in and day out for the country to topple over in fascism and all of a sudden your citizenship you busted your ass for doesn’t mean anything and you and love ones are separated and sent to ‘camps’ these same camps reminiscent of concentration camps.

Imagine living here in the USA and trying to send money to your family suffering in Gaza to help them get out, only to be arrested for giving money to terrorists.

This isn’t the world I want to be living in; this isn’t the world I imagined having to sit here and watch unfold. So many backwards steps and returning to being barbarians. If I didn’t have things to lose, I would join the ‘music festivals’ happening here in the USA, but I do, so my voice will ring out here for anyone wanting to listen, and for anyone to scared to have a platform if there are things you wish to share, I will share them on your behalf.

Hate is not tolerated, fascism isn’t tolerated, and this disgusting behavior of malice won’t be tolerated either. I stand with Palestine, I stand with Ukraine, I stand with the brave protestors who dare to stand up to our corrupt governments, and I love the movement of everyone coming together to fight this corrupt world we live in.

For safety, despite having depression and anxiety, I am not suicidal, nor do I have any suicidal ideation. I want to live as I have things I need to do in this world and a family to love and friendships to live out. I love my life despite its hardships and wouldn’t change anything nor kill myself to leave this life.
